Earl Grey is one of the most popular and well-known teas in the west. Earl Grey tea is name after the second Earl Charles Grey of Britain in the early 1830s, who is traditionally credited with creating this blend of tea himself before he became Prime Minister (those drinking Earl Grey tea might recall that Prime Minister Earl Grey is perhaps best known for abolishing slavery in the British Empire a generation before the American Civil War).

The orange citrus flavor provi9de by the bergamot oil provides a refreshing tea that is far brighter and more tart than other classic black teas.
