Lapsang Souchong, or smoky tea, is considered an ancient tea from China. Much loved for its smoky flavor, this tea goes well with fruit and cheese, and is ideal drunk plain, without milk.

During the curing of Lapsang Souchong, smoke is added during the drying process, imparting the smoky character to the leaves, and making Lapsang Souchong tea unique among black teas.
